Who runs Protoavis ?Protoavis Productions is run by Heather Gibbs.
Heather's Interests:
Producing my first CD-ROM John Gould's Birds of Australia, and doing other Multimedia Authoring, using the really cool software Multimedia ToolBook - why not check out our report on the ToolBook User's Conference?
Also producing a CD-ROM to teach Indonesian Language, with my dad, Colin, and Tom Pratama; Tom is a native Indonesian speaker, who teaches Indonesian locally in schools and TAFE. Tom's wife Natalia, a friend, Phillipa, my mother Gail, and some of Tom's students have also been helping out.
Lately have had contract work creating Computer Based Training for companies including Ansett, Telstra, Creative Informatics, LearnTech and the EPA.
Other interests include birds, in particular through Birds Australia, Ceramics (I like this Virtual Ceramics Exhibition), Solar Power and Alternative energy, and Web Page programming too.
I went to Antarctica in 1996, doing Bird Observations on the Aurora Australis. This trip inspired me to get into Digital Photography and Video, especially because of my interest in Wildlife Photography. Why not have a look at a few pictures?
